The Day 5ive Was Set Up
5ive were put together in 1997, by Bob Herbert and his son Chris, they were the people who had put the Spice Girls together. They released their first single, Slam Dunk (Da Funk), in December 1997. First of all they moved into a house together, then they sorted out their music and the album. Unfortunately Bob was not around to see 5ive get their 1st number 1 as he tradegicaly died in a car crash in the summer of 1999.

The Day It All Ended
On 27th September 2001, 5ive announced on MTV that they were calling it a day. I recieved a text message saying to watch MTV @ 4:30pm for a live interview and to check their website and MTV's website for live web chats. I recieved this text message because i was on the mission 5 game. It was a sad day for all 5ive fans, to hear that they were not going to be a band anynore is really sad as they changed the face of pop forever!!
